I have had a search and can't find any info. I have a 2003 C230K coupé with the pano roof. Don't use roof much in winter (probably not good not to use it) and now have come to use it and it is slow and needs a bit of a helping hand. Does anyone know exactly which bits to clean and lubricate...

Hi was just wondering if somebody could point me in the direction of how to clean my matt wrapped mercedes. I'm in fear of damaging the wrap using products that won't be sensitive on the wrap. Would be a big help if anyone is "in the know". Thanks.

Managed today to do a proper clean on the 'Swmbo' R172 after finally getting some decent weather :thumb: This was the result after snow foam, wash, clay barring and a dash over with supagard (ex Ebay!). This being my first attempt, I'm quite pleased with the result :D Andy

Does anyone use any products on alloys? I have 18" amg's and am looking for a suitable product to give the alloys a shine after wash and also act as a dirt barrier. Ideally where I can just rinse the dirt off rather than scrub! Cheers

My E430 (160k miles) had a slight oil leak from the crankcase breather gaskets and a couple of the coil packs have oily gunk on them, I am going to fix leak and fit new spark plugs soon and wonder what is the best way to clean the coil packs before re-fitting them, I'm guessing solvent based...

Any tips on keeping these clean - so far metal polish and a small toothbrush and hard work! Anyone recommend a polish to stop the soot binding to the pipes. Cheers
