Is there a common problem with the dipped beam on the C Class. Mine seem really dim and need to put on the fog lights to compensate.

I tried not to be lazy, but my search for bulbs yielded too much data. My W124 headlamps are fine, but they aren't that potent and I wondered if people had a recommended bulb upgrade (not HID for obvious reasons) which would cast a bit more light. TIA
