HEY FORUM i just got my set of BOSCH EURO lights in today and i have a US spec W124. i went to swap the but saw thet my US has 4 prongs and the EURO has 5 prongs how do i make this work??

Does anyone know when the Euro 4 engine was introduced? I have an 03 plate W211 320cdi which I guess has an i6 engine. The reason I ask is there is a significant tax differential between the Euro 4 and er non Euro 4 model. What the heck is Euro 4 anyway?!
