Hi, Does the glow plug light on a Mercedes Vito 1999 have a dual function? I.e. That the light is indicating that there is a problem with the engine that has nothing really to do with the glow plugs or its associated parts. Or is it just for issues on the glow plug circuit?. Thanks.

Well here's the issue, From cold the glow plug light will come on and go out and the car will fire up instantly and runs sweet. But then around and 40 seconds later the Glow plug light will come on for around a 60 seconds then go out and not return till the next cold start. No codes found...
