    W220 Intake Mod

Has anyone noticed that on the W220 V8 (Maybe others as well) in front of the Air intake pipes, the grill is solid plastic, 1st pic. Surely if you got cold air straight into the airbox it would improve performance, or MPG for no cost, I cut away both sides, 2nd pic. I haven't driven the car...

    Last Carbon Fiber Mod

Well this is my final CF mod to my car a CF roof spoiler that completes all the exterior mods done - CF wing mirror covers, CF door pillars, CF front spoiler, CF boot spoiler and CF trim over chrome. Final job will be Kleemann performance kit to fit, which Olly will do for me - almost there. Oh...

    MAF mod

When I fitted a new MAF to my car I took the voltage readings. I took another set of readings yesterday and compared. The MAF has a 3% drop in output voltage when the engine isn't under load, i.e. in neutral. This made me think about bringing the output back to normal, or even a little...

    Potential Mod.

The doors on the CLC are the same as the w203 coupe. Therefore the door mirror seats must be the same as a w203 saloon. Therefore the CLC arrow mirrors might fit a w203? Can anyone photo shop this mod? Comments welcome.

    New mod idea

When I fitted my rear C43 bumper, I had a matt black 'defuser' style section painted out. Ive been thinking of doing a similar thing for the front bumper, but instead of painting, I have a large roll of black vinyl (not matt). What do you guys think? Ether leave it the same, or add the...

I had a crazy idea for a mod

I was sitting and thinking (well considering seriously after a conversation with modder Nick Shude   ) about possibly shoe horning an S500 engine (W140 series) into my W202... Now I know there will be some naysayers who will not like the idea or will suggest buying a new car rather...

    Final exhaust mod R230 SL500

For anyone that's followed my previous exhaust mod, yep I've been at it again . Tried an unsuccessful MkII version (droned like crazy) and was about to revert to the MKI when I managed to nab an AMG system on Ebay. I initially fought shy of the quad pipes prefering the standard 500 look but...

    Paddle shift mod

Am looking into the possibillity of fitting paddle shifts to my 2003 C200K auto. (not the sequential box) I'm thinking total manual mode may be very complex, but, I would think it should be possible to have control of up/down shifting to replace the sideways movement of the gearstick. I'd be...
