Hi, I have a quick question, sorry if it has been covered before. I'm looking at buying a 2003 ML270 CDI Auto. The vendor claims he gets 47mpg on a motorway run, & 30mpg around town. Has anyone who owns a i980 scanner used it to view information from the DPF, ash, sooth levels etc? Or is this function only available on a STAR? I'm trying to work out the reason for my bad consumption stats. 30mpd on a 250CDI engine.

I have a 2010 C350 CDI. I average about between 40-42mpg on long runs according to the OBC (mpg displayed). brim to brim records shows that this is consistently 9% optimistic. Is there a way of recalibrating the MPG calculation ?
