I had a look at my boost pipe that is linked to the inlet manifold. I checked it to see if there was any splits, I have noticed where it joins the inlet manifold the connection is not flush. Should it be? I have attached a picture. Thanks

How do you remove the cat pipe section on a E300 TD? The elbow at the steering column seems to be a bother, not much room, will it fall once the clamps are open or there will be a lot of twisting and turning to let it go? Cheers. Olivier

A common fault on the W203 is for the breater pipe to split causing an engine management error. This is the revised version of the pipe, part no A 271 018 12 82 I paid £8 for this at MB, make me an offer. The pipe is new, clean and unused (I ended up with 2 by mistake).
