Am re posting this as I mucked it up first time round. Found this pipe lying near the battery, which is on the right hand side of my car, it's left hand drive, when sucked it opens/closes the valve on the air inlet tube, so it must need to be connected to something, any ideas?
Have some links...
Hi sorry for the lack of photo evidence, broken camera, but whilst under the bonnet today I saw a black plastic pipe (approx 3mm od) loose near the bulkhead by the battery, right hand side of the car, (it's left hand drive). Sucking on the end of this pipe causes the air intake valve to...

The Metal pipe from the clutch master cylinder to the gearbox burst today due to severe corrosion in the exposed section from transmission tunnel. Has anyone else had this problem? The main front to rear fuel pipe is not much better.:mad:
I have made a de-cat pipe for C32's.:bannana::bannana::bannana::D:D
It is a stainless steel pipe that can be fitted DIY if you are handy with the tools.
It is very well made and sounds lovely without being too noisey.:D

Hi,
would I be best to have a warm running engine, a warm turned off engine or a cold engine when topping up all the oil that ejected from the oil cooler pipes? :dk:
Sent to me in error by Inchcape and of no use to me so I thought it might be of use to someone here.

I removed the oil breather pipe from the top of the engine on my w202 c180 94 merc. The one that runs from the rocker cover to the inlet on the throttle body. I plugged up the hole into the throttle body and ran a pipe down under the car to get rid of any nasty stuff. I had the problem of the...
Hi All

I went to my local merc dealers and picked up some O rings...
Maybe someone will know...:dk: There is a metal oil pipe which loops across behind the front bumper, an oil cooler pipe is suppose. It looks like it was crushed by a bar levering something at some time or other. My question is will this block oil flow to vital other parts or is it just looped...
Does anybody think it would be safe to wrap heating pipes in the car with normal pipe insulation used for central heating, or thermal tape or something like that. just to try keep the heat in them. Thanks
I have a oil leak/gush traced to a transmission cooler pipe running below the rad on a W210 E300, i have joined the 2 flexi cooler pipes to enable me to stay mobile, am i likely to have problems if i don't rush to change the metal cooler pipes and reconnect the cooler rad?:confused:
Does anyone know whether you can change the "leak oil return line" on the front shock aborber (SL500 1997 with ASD). It's a small black plastic pipe that exits at the top of the strut and connects to a rigid pipe on the inner wing which in turns feeds back to the level control value unit. Mine...
