Cheers.
Hi all
Would like to get the scratches etc out of my car this weekend, but cant really afford to buy one.
Does anyone have one they would be prepared to lend me?
Cheers
This looks like a stonking price for a decent DA. OK, it includes the Black Friday discount code BF15 but it was still working this morning so perhaps it will be valid until the end of the weekend.
IMHO this is the ideal DA to use on those extra-hard German clearcoats. The more powerful 880W...

I've decided to have a go at correcting the paintwork on my car ( guards red 944 porky )
Been looking at purchasing a DA polisher to try and bring the paint back and get rid of the swirls etc.
Has anyone bought such a machine lately? Also any advice on products to use.
Many thanks
Paul
Bruvs,
How are you all? Have any of you seen the car polishing machine Aldi are selling? What you think, would it be good for a merc or could it damage it.
Thanks for replys
Guys, quick question-Clay makes the paint smooth, so does a good going over with a DA polisher. I have always clayed and then used the DA. Is there any advantage to this or should I just go straight in with the DA polisher to remove small scratches and swirls?
Whats the general opinion on the Meguiars G220 V2 MOP?
eBay has it for £159 and now I have a black car, I want it to really shine which isnt really possible from just the normal washing procedure.
Is this a good introduction to polishing? easy to learn/master? I dont really want to spend...
well for sale is my brand new car polisher i have tried just a couple of times but i really cant get on with it. Much prefer the elbow grease way so i'm open to sensible offers. Comes with two large sponges and one i have cut down to 5in also buffing wheel and Velcro pad plus spare brushes for...
As above but i fear on the slowest setting it is spinning far too fast to be used with the sponges to apply polish. i think it will just fling straight off and also burn my beautiful paintwork. Says 600 RPM on the slowest setting but im sure its spinning far far faster than that. I think it will...
Well not only have i decided to keep my beautiful C280 V6 i have bought myself a rotary polisher, an angle grinder type to get the beautiful rust free body looking pristine. Maguire's cutting compound and polish ordered too. Roll on some great polishing days. :D
