I have a small leak that looks like its coming from the drivers side of the rocker cover. It's not major but causing a bit of smoke. I'm thinking the gasket needs replacing. Any tips on doing this?

Hello Guys! As some may be aware, the 124 coupe is having an engine conversion to an M104. This would be the perfect time to give it a proper exterior refresh while its out so... What colour do you think i should paint the rocker cover? Car is Azurite blue.

A question for you propeller heads... 10k miles ago I had the rocker gaskets replaced on my 4.4 X5 V8... they are now leaking again at the back both sides... I have called BMW and they say parts are covered for 2 years... i called the garage that did them and they are saying they'll look at them...

Hello I need to replace the rocker cover gaskets on my newly aquired 560sel. I have already bought them, it looks like a simple enough job but are there any hints or tips e.g do i need to use any sealant with them? Many thanks
