washers

I have a 2012my c class saloon with xenons and active headlamps. It doesn't appear to have headlamp washers. I though they were a legal requirement if you have xenons?

Have any 212 owners actually seen their headlight washers working? Just not sure if mine are. I know they only spray once for every 10 sprays of the windscreen (or something similar) but I imagine it would be the first spray rather than one at random. On my old car I used to see a mist...

I'm planning to put in a headlamp washer button from w210 in place of the stalk, in my w202. Could anyone with the wiring diagram advise how to wire the back of this switch ie. which terminal goes where, or kindly provide the circuit diagram from the w210. Thanks a bunch.

Mine have given up the ghost, fuse is OK. Can't quite see how they work, is there some central compressor and just piped water to the pop up bits? Anyone have a diagram? Thanks Olly
