06 CLS W219 Comand Unlocking [WILL PAY YOU FOR HELP]

The COMAND is our property and you have made some very good points, but I dare you to go into the BIOS set-up of your computer and start altering settings that you are not familar with?

Regards,
John

I know what you mean John, I would never dig so deep into my computer, for example, but I know I could if I wanted to and I also know that I would have to live with the consequencies of it never working again which it surely wouldnt:o . I suppose its the 'nanny' effect that we all have to live with these days and it always feels to me that someone always knows best and decides on my behalf that they know what is best for me as an individual.

Whatever happened to taking responsibity for ones own actions and consequencies?

The DVD in motion issue I can live with, I know its illegal & a danger and thats all I need to know. I switched it off long before I got anywhere near a public highway, not for fear of being caught but as a natural human reaction to something that was both tabboo and life threatening to both myself but, more importantly, to other 'innocent' members of the public.

I've gone way off topic here and I cannot apologise enough for that because its not about comand, its about pretty much all aspects of individual life these days, too much control.

I'm a happy bunny though, the suns out, I finish early of Fridays, I have Diana with me today and her tops coming down this afternoon and Friday nights curry night :D .

Hopefully you are aware of the French lorry driver that was watching a film whilst driving on a UK motorway and ploughed into a stationary car, killing the occupants. He denied watching the movie (shock of shocks) he was merely 'listening' to it. Yes he got away with it, as no one could prove he was actually watching the film. The dead certainly could not testify and NO ONE that has had the modification EVER watches films   it is done solely for their children

As someone who installs several navigation units each year I can assure you that a map on the screen is quite dangerous for some people till they get over it. I generally break with polite chat and tell the driver we may never arrive at the destination.

On Tuesday I was out training and was hit by a driver who was reading a notebook. He looked up, gave me the V-sign, and drove off. Nice chap, don't you think.

Talking of going off topic... When will we be reading part 2 of your ecellent flying escapades?

By the way, I agree with all your comments in your last post.

Have a nice day,

Morning John.

Very soon all being well, Mrs P decided I looked better holding a paintbrush or two plus the garage roof went all leaky on me so I've been a bit tied up with emulsion paint, roof felt and other domestic woes for a few weeks:crazy:

Its coming to an end now, oh and the weathers settled.......:D

It's just as well that Mrs P and your friends on this forum know that your car is called Diana.
