Hi guys!

I hoping you can give me some advice.
I've seen this "Sportline" front anti-roll bar from a 124 estate, which has covered 190,000 kms.

It's listed on German ebay: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&item=260348027556

First of all, would this fit a 124 coupe?
Also, would be worth getting with that mileage? An anti-roll bar appears to be a bit of metal, so if I renew the rubber bushes, it should - in theory - be OK, right?
Finally, is the price good for such an item?

Many thanks in advance,

Darren

Looking at the pictures it would appear that part of the protective coating is missing. I would give it a miss personally. Older corroded ones have been known to break and since its been on an estate it may have led a hard life?

Looks pretty similar to a coupe too me, I have a pair of Sportline roll bars that will be available soon ;) if you're interested? Let me know :)

Yep, as Grober has said - they do wear, the coating comes off them and this leads to a non-snug fit where the bushes sit. If it's rough, it'll wear the bushes faster as well I would think.

Much better with a new/'perfect' used bar IMHO.

Will
