124 cassette Box PLUS gear knob and exhaust tips!

Just came accross this. Its not in the title but included is 2 chrome exhaust tips and a walnut gear knob! still only £1 with only 7 hours to go.

Had my eye on that myself. If it stays that way later today I think I may just snap it up.

was looking at that but not convinsed that the gear knob is right. Cassettes, us CD's now but value for the chrome tipse

Yep the chrome pipes were what I was looking at too . . the gear knob is not to my taste . .

a W124 gear knob - certainly on the auto is attached to the shaft.

However, some people have managed to get around that one

I fabricated an adaptor that fit the thread inside of gear knobs then cut the top of the standard merc shaft and joined the two together.

It looks a lot neater than it sounds - in fact it looks no different to stock but means any gear knob should fit
