124 E300d Air con pump

Hi all,
The air con pump has just packed up (rattling very badly ) It seems okay other than the 2 plates on the front being loose, I wondered if it was reparable.

I've got a good one I bought off Ian at 124 works but apparently the ports are different because its an off an early R12 type, mine needing an R134a type.

So does any one know where I can get a later type air con pump at a reasonable price (even trade they are £290 + vat) or if I can make the one Ive got work

They are repairable, Serk sell all the parts, also any special tools you my need, if the pump you have is the same except the ports you may be able to swap the back plates over.
