129 SL window memory

Hi All,

Haven't had the chance to use my SL much this year, and the windows are now malfunctioning intermittently by opening part way when the doors are opened. This has happened before if not used for a while and the battery gets low, but it is now happening too often over the last couple of weeks.

They are easily reset in the normal way, but does anyone know which of the modules are likely to be the suspects please?

i think they are meant to open about 1cm so that they clear the rubber....

Thanks Rajinder, you are right. Just to clarify, mine occasionally open by about a third and stay there. Unless reset, they will then operate without dropping as they should.

Derek, I'll give Andy a call, but any written responses will be helpful as my memory is going the same way as my window modules, and I'm now away from the car for another few weeks!
