I've just been told that my front 2 alloys (5 slot 17 inch alloys) are knackered so I am looking for a set of 18 inch alloys to suit preferably with tyres. I like the look of the style 3 /monblocks but understand that these are pretty difficult to come by. Any help will be greatly appreciated...

Hi, I'm selling my genuin AMG 18"s on my E320 CDi they are as good as new.

*see album for the pictures*

Let me know if you are interested..

Looking for £500 for all four.

Thanks
Josef.

hi Josef, if the tyres are good and they fit the w210 model then I'll buy them. Please can you confirm if they will fit the previous model from yours?

This deal has apparently fell through.... anyone with any other suitable wheels?

wheels arrived but there are no tyres. In one of my previous thread I asked specifically about tyres and he confirmed they were legal. The alloys are not mint as decribed, all 4 having chips and scrapes, 2 showing signs of corrosion. All in all I'm not a happy bunny ... The deal has been done on this forum where I would have thought people would have been more honest... where do I go from here?

After umpteen requests for resolution to this problem and after contacting the vendor, he agreed to go 50/50 for new tyres. I purchased the tyres and requested payment. The money apparently has been sent 3 times via bank transfer but I'm still waiting after 1 month. I think in this case I have been more than patient but this has went on too long. In the meantime, I know that this guy is an avid follower on this forum and may even have a few friends but please be aware that the guy is basically a liar and timewaster..... Time for me to change tack and go onto plan B

Whilst I apprectiate you have a gripe with another forum member, in my opinion I think i would be best if you resolve the issue however you intened to do so before entering into an open slanging match on here which will only add fuel to the fire and attract other opinions that wont really help matters.

Perhaps when the issue is resolved you could post up politely what the outcome is.:)

With all due respect the issue has been ongoing for weeks with promise after promise that the money has been paid. My intention was to highlight this problem NOT add fire to it...

In which previous thread did you ask about the tyres and then receive confirmation of their legality??

here... and please, let's not get into an argument about legality of tyres. I asked if the tyres were good then we had a deal. At no point in the procedings was in intimated that a/ the tyres were not legal or b/ the tyres had been removed. The first inkling was when they arrived... Verbally on the phone I was assured that the tyres were legal... until he removed them and discovered not. Even then this information was kept from me

chancha, what was the problem with your original w210 alloys? If they are repairable, i might be interested in them for my w210.

cheers

there is a flat spot on two of them where I hit some roadworks that werent signposted. Dont know if this can be repaired but to be honest I didnt really notice until I saw some inside tyre wear due to the tracking being knocked out slightly... sent me a pm if you're interested in the wheels.
