18" or 19" - Ride quality?

Thought I'd decided but .....

I'm tempted to go for 19" rather than 18" wheels.

E320 Advantgarde estate.

Ride will be better on which?? I can see that you get more sidewall on an 18" compared to a 19" but is it very noticeable?

Was looking at a BMW with 19" last night and visually the difference would be great but .............!!!

Its all a matter of personal taste but I would not go to 19s. The avantgarde set up is reasonably firm as it is without big wheels.

I would go for the 19" that's what I'm going to on mine couldn't choose between 19" and 20" but the fellow forum members advised to say away from 20" as it will be stiff and the mo I have 18" but the look isn't good too small for me

my son has 17 inch wide wheels with sports suspension on his E320 CDI avantgarde (Saloon). I find that ride a bit harsh but then I'm spolit with an s class and way the wrong side of 60

Looks over ride really. My brother had an Alfa on 19's. Rides like a go cart but looks great.

You know my view already.
