1990 300CE facelift question

Hi,
I want to face lift my 1990 300CE to this S600 type chrome grille.
Ive attached a picture.
Does anybody know where I can buy it ?
I don't see it on ebay
I've found a 1994 320E bonnet,I still need replacement lights. I would like to use 500E lights with colourless indicator,Will these fit? If I can find any?

I also want to change the rear lights to the red/colourless style. Will I need to swap boot lids too ?

The grille you can get from Matrixcar in the Germany or from this chap on Ebay ... if you are facelifting, you want the grille for the 93-95 car , check with him that this is the correct one as the picture he shows is for the prefacelift, but the description states for the post ... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/AVANTGARDE-GR...ryZ10398QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

You will need replacement headlights . The prefacelift ones you have now will work and fit, but people who know what they are looking for will tell they are the wrong lights...

You can either buy either clear lensed indicators (they are seperate to the headlights) from ECP or GSF cheaply or pay a little more and get OEM from the stealer (they will be a better fit) ...

Swapping the rear lights is easy , buy OEM as you need a good seal around these ...

Boot lid is the same, so you won't need to change it, but you will need to buy a filler panel and then have it painted , it's about £80 from the dealership. You can read about it in this thread :- http://www.mbclub.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=4391&highlight=filler+panel

The avantgarde grille you have shown was never an option on the w124, all of them will be aftermarket and quality will vary , for what it's worth , member 'aka$h' has one he is trying to sell , why not drop him a PM....

Personally i prefer the pre-facelift look and i have fitted an avantgarde grille to mine as you can see in my sig ...

I can't seem to find the headlights I want.
I'm after the clear sparkle style like the one in this picture.

They are after market headlamp/lenses and easily obtainable from the US from retailers BUT manufactured in far east i.e. Taiwan. US spec headlamps would have different beam pattern to UK.

Those are aftermarket ones, they are not OEM ...MB never made the clear lensed lights for the w124 ....

You will be hard pushed to find a set for a RHD car as they are as rare as rocking horse poo .....

Lots of dealers in the states sell them , but bear in mind that they are for LHD cars , so the beam pattern is totally wrong and you will fail your MOT and blind oncoming traffic ...

They usually sell on US Ebay for about $180 a pair plus $50 shipping ....

How about Japan or Thailand ?
They would have the correct beam pattern.
I think that where this photo came from Japan.
Of course the lights could be illegal there too unless the make them for the Aisan market.
How do they change the beam pattern if you import a US car ?
