1995 S600 V12 LWB £6k (not ebay)

Yeah v12 W140's are very cheap now ....

Remember these were a hundred grand new !!

You will need to cut the bottoms out of your trouser pockets and stand in a sack of cash if anything goes wrong with it though ..... ;)

A beautiful car RUINED by those HORRIBLE chrome trims around the wheel arches.

To me they always scream RUST hider. There may not be any rust whatsoever, but they look awful.

Rant, rant

John

That is some depreciation!

Is there another car that loses that level of % of its value?

The garage claim to service it before it is sold........

I bet it's not a proper service, and just an oil change.

What woould a major service cost on one of these??? Probably not far off the £6k asking price.

Any one fancy doing an engine swap into w124? :p

If you remember that its a £100,000 car then its still a damn good buy :) Even if something goes wrong, its still going to be a lot cheaper to fix and run than buying a new E-class.

£300 for a minor service to £600+ for a major. I know as I drive a '92 600SEL and am on speaking term with the main dealers ! Its 130k miles and full MB history and the reciepts for its total life repairs and servicings come to inexcess of £80k !!!! But what a fantastic vehicle - oh and its also 'chipped'.:)

It's 1995 so pre-facelift with wiring loom problems etc.
I've been to Wilding Motors and let's just say the description didn't match the condition of the car;)
There's another S600 (1996) on Autotrader that looks like a better bet. Cheap enough for routine servicing but if anything goes wrong....

I can confirm the values are ridiculous now, I sold a 94 S600 a while back for around 4K. It was mint, in silver, all colour coded with facelift bits... It took me monhts to sell it too.
