Hi
Recent Mercedes owner and I've been using the forum for the past month to do a few odd jobs (double din conversion the most challenging so far ) on the car but now its time to post and seek advice.
I want to fit a reversing camera to my E320 CDI W210. It looks like I can fit it to the lip above the number plate. It looks like there is a small panel there that will unscrew and provide a decent place to mount the camera centrally.
Has anyone done this before that can offer me tips for the fitting and wiring? Is there a good place in the boot to take a live and earth power feed from or should I run these back to the battery? I am looking at running the camera feed from the head unit down the passenger side of the car to the boot. I presume I can follow the same route in the boot lid as the number plate lights?
If more info is needed the camera is a Sony CCD HD Waterproof 170 wide angle and the head unit it will connect to is a Eonon G2440E.
