Hi, I have a problem with airmatic on my car loosing air pressure overnight, i have done some investigating and found slight air leaks from cracks around top of front air struts, i have used epoxy resin to fill cracks but would like to know if anyone has replaced these top caps without removing strut, a repair kit for these has a part number A220 320 25 38:dk:

i am going to see how long resin repair will last i am not going to reseal old units as mileage over 80,000 miles (mercedes benz recommend that they should be replaced in pairs after this mileage reached), i will buy from mercedes benz and have them fitted by a specialist with star machine to set up.

I think you better sit down when you ask MB for the price of 2 airmatic struts..
I think its criminal that there doesn't seem to be somewhere in this country that can repair / refurbish these units.

It's worth getting a price off ecp
In order to carry out the repair effectively the strut should be taken off
