there's a LHD LWB S350 BlueTec at Canary Wharf's Motorexpo ..

I sat in it front and back, very comfortable.

the car does not have full leather interior with artico on dash and door tops.

interior quality is good, but not excellent.

although it's a big car, it doesn't look that big.

also not over styled like recent Mercs with too many lines and creases

S class looks good IMO

Rear lights are too small.. they have a Bentley Continental look to them.

I had a sit in one of these at the Goodwood show and I reckon for the money there's nothing that comes close. AutoExpress seem to concur:

I sat in it to at goodwood, thought sitting in the back was amazing, those head rests were to die for but there's just something about the shape of the steering wheel that ruins the front for me.

just stay in the back seat and you will be contented. for 100k they should be able to get you the shape you want hehehe

I too sat in the new S class and know what you mean regarding the steering wheel. When the ignition is switched on two dials light up in the top portion of the steering wheel resembling a pair of eyes, this, together with the bottom "smile" looks like the face of Coco the clown. Once you recognise this you will never get it out of you mind.
