203 estate Heated rear side screen problem?

Hi,
As the header says. I seem not to get the rear side windows operating.
Its a w203 2007 model which I bought last November and this is the first time Ive needed to operate the rear heated window. The elements in the windows are there but seem not to work- -is there likley to be a fault? tia.

Do you mean the rear side windows? If you see some wires there, those should be antenna wires. Window heating only at the "real" rear window.

That shows my ignorance
I had no idea they were antenna wires. I just "assumed" they were heated elements . Never assume I suppose- - oh well living and learning

That proves I'm well ahead others, I made that mistake probably 5 to 10 years ago when we had the first wagon in our family.

I am just sooo glad I did'nt visit the MB dealer with this "problem".
I dont think I could have lived with that. Its nicer and friendlier with this
