313 sprinter anti hijack locking

313 anti hijack function
Hi all, just bought a 313 as I had a 311. The 313 doesn't lock the doors when I pull away like the 311 did. I understand there is a secret procedure to activate this???
Any help would be appreciated

Not a secret procedure as far as I'm aware, if the feature is available then it should be in the steering wheel menus.

Press < or > to get to Settings

Then up or down to get to Vehicle, then OK to confirm.

Up or down again to get to Auto Door Lock and set it how you want it, confirming with OK.

The above is how it works on mine, yours may be different but hopefully similar.

Oh ok, I don't believe I have a cross of buttons on the steering wheel, just a menu button that seems to show the engine temperature, am I missing something obvious ?

Not familiar with your vehicle unfortunately so couldn't really help any more, though having had a quick look, it appears that not all models of Sprinter had the steering wheel buttons.

The above procedure works on mine, and a few others I've had/been in, though probably not all.

You can download a manual from HERE, though without buttons, the function may have to be enabled by Mercedes.

Finally found the menu, but in convenience part it only has the yey depend option, no auto lock feature
