360 Camera Software Update

My S212 E350 AMG Sport ( build date Aug 2014 ) is have some intermitent issues with the 360 camera system. For no apparent reason the system shuts down with no picture from any of the cameras and just the basic overlay detail on the comand screen. Ignition on/off does not cure the problem. If I completely shut the car down, lock the doors and come back a few hours later all is restored.

Found on an American web site that a software update was issued for the camera system in Dec 2014 which helped this problem ( don't know if this is true or just for the USA market).

So, is it possible using my VIN to find out what software updates are available for my car and can I check if a particular software has been updated, say at the last service ( making this a new issue).

Anybody else had similar problems. Looking for some knowledge/ammunition before contacting the dealer under warranty.

Can't fault the system when it works.

You need Xentry to read firmware versions and update them. It needs to be proper supported online system.

As your car is under warranty, just tell your dealer to sort it out ! (And I suspect the first thing they will do is read fault codes and check the firmware version)
