5 years in...

I certainly would not buy from MH.... no matter where they were.... nothing to do with the cars (as said there will be SOME good ones!)..... but more to do with links to alleged money laundering and other criminal activity .... they have been to court a few times and not always over car disputes!

No, 'twas a 129. That one is the same lovely colour combination too, but I've been taking the pills and I'm much better now, despite my Voices...

I usually look at number of owners and how long the previous one owned it and pretend its my car on MOT history on the gov site. If its been passed around like my wife, I tend to avoid it like the plague.

My man maths has settled on a 40k mile NA m3 convertible but the 7.5k PX I asked for on my 6 series has led to me being ghosted by the dealer...but of curiosity , F83 (I think its a 3 at the end ) M4 convertibles are going for low gbp 20k, so if you want to make your wife feel at home and help her relive the sound of her doing her weekly vacuuming then you know the deal ... an equivalent c63 vert (non s) will set you back 33k!

Anyone interested in buying a e63 w212 s 39k miles, 2 owners , original exhaust available plus includes, iPE valvetronic exhaust ? I'm in the mood for selling. Oh did I forget to mention she comes with perfect tax account grey exterior and it's very well looked after and I'm ashamed to say I don't drive it hard . Very ashamed. Mainly motorway miles. PM me.

Wow, car looks amazing inside, looks really fun to drive too. For some reason, the dashboard reminds me of Knight Rider car. It looks like a big step up in terms of 4matic drive and the interior dashboard 😍

Fixed that for you... :D

That hookers handbag is a big step up from my brown paper bag interior

So looks like I'm keeping the E63 for daily & family duties, I've bought myself a 911 for weekends, road trips & track days...
To be honest I don't think I could've sold in the end as the wife & kids were strongly against me selling the car & Mrs Cooke suggested I bought another car.

Quite a coincidence Jon, I got my my 911 out of storage just recently and MOTd it and taxed it for a year for the first time in ages!

What’s the story behind this one? Have you been looking for a while, or an impulse buy?

First 911 for you?

What’s the spec like, any more pictures - maybe start a new thread for it! 😎😀

Mine’s a 2003 996.2 C2 with 65k miles. It was allegedly a press car/demonstrator for Porsche Cars GB (Reading) and has some interesting factory options - X51 engine power kit (+25hp but done properly - has different heads, cams, exhaust manifolds, baffled sump, 3rd radiator etc) and X74 suspension (-30mm, different dampers, springs, ARBs, suspension mounts, geometry settings etc). Supposedly the X51 powerkit helps a bit with longevity on these engines (I guess the additional cooling and baffled sump help).

I think it’s unusual as the Porsche ‘Exclusive’ options are quite expensive - c. £8k for the engine upgrade and £4k for the suspension. Add in the spoiler at £1.5k and some other bits and I think it took a basic Carrera to around £70k+ which most people wouldn’t have chosen.

Just need to get some use out of it now!

I don’t feel such an outcast on here now so a couple of pics taken on Friday, it’s not particularly clean, and was rained on but still looks okay for a 21 year old 😎

Do you have much history on the engine on yours Jon - did you get it inspected at all?
