Hi Everybody,
I have just did my first 5000 miles with the S212 E63 AMGS and have just to say, what a car.
The more I drive her the more I love it.
I have done long journeys and have travelled several times to Belgium and to Austria for our ski trip (with help of the winter tires from Will).
Now I realize that my time with the Range Rover was a waste of time and waste of money, for the first time after several years I did 5000 miles without any warnings on the dashboard.
For the first time I didn’t had to call roadside assistance to replace the Range Rover.
OK I miss the high seat position from the Range Rover but otherwise the comfort is very good for a performance car.
Fuel consumption is not much more as the 4.4 SDV8 (Diesel), but the horses needs to be feed. So the consumption compared the power is in my opinion good for what you get (around 25 miles the gallon).
The S213 will be probably even better.
Also the service you get from the Mercedes dealer in Solihull is also much better than the Land Rover dealer in Solihull.
So touch wood, thanks to the forum I own one of my best cars I ever had as the car comes from a forum member. I’m definitely sold for the AMG brand and will definitely go for a S213 in a few years.
And Paul thank you to keep the car in the great shape as it is now.
