High fuel consumption w212 e350 cdi estate

Yes I had got to that point early on. Thanks

Fuel Consumption threads are interesting 😀

Can’t believe how hard it is to get a used batwing. The one I was watching has been removed

I don't think you will find anything worth bothering tbh. I waited for years for a good condition part and for £100 was still an oily mess with the rubber sections uncrimped and moderate deformation on the collar from the usual heavy clamping.

Not much really.

I was going to say if you can find one with a good central pipe and knackered mafs ,you could have a go at putting your mafs onto it . I've found a new one at £99 or best offer on eBay . Used ones are around £150 to £200 . With no guarantee on the mafs being good.

I’ll keep looking. I’ve seen some new ones for around £100 but it looks different to my one

Just got one off eBay for £80, collar looks intact. Fingers crossed all good, should turn up mid week. I already have a set of new genuine seals to go on it

Hopefully the 2 mafs won't be goosed. 👌

They will be copies at £100, not OE Mercedes parts.

I've not seen one of these MAFs fail yet..
