560 SEC with trip computer

Very rare trip computer. I'm not sure they were ever available on UK spec cars as it was all geared for KM's.

All that spec and no heated seats (I guess you don't need them in Monaco)- looks like it has a rear blind though.

The trip was never option here as they never did one in English and it does not have a rear blind

Yes, stunning advert, very nice standard car indeed, but very over priced. At the end of the day, there are a lot of these with only slightly higher mileage and in pretty much the same condition, with full history and they make around 5-6k. It's not the first nor the last in line and mileage is not low enough to make it a real collectors car. It needs to be priced to drive. I'd have thought £7k ish would do it. If it was AMG, then that's a different story. Just my humble opinion.

That central button in the picture behind the gearstick can only be "town & country" horn setting then if there's no blind. Still, unusual to see a 560 with no heated seats.

Correct

My 124 has town and country horn, never really saw the problem that it solved, but I love it none the less, teutonic crazy throroughness.

Pretty sure thats a forum member, it was offered to me a while back but I also didnt think it was worth that much.

Always wondered why the trip computer was covered in my SL handbook but not mentioned on the price list!

They did exactly the same trip computer as pictured in the R107. God knows how much it cost back then!

What are the cheese wedge buttons with the letters!!!!!????? Is that part of the computer control?

If the vendor is watching, will you px anything?

Cheers,

Paul

Yes

I love these cars and this looks great in that colour. I would be less keen on left hand drive though.

Hello, yes, the car is mine.

The spec is quite odd, i'm surprised it doesn't have heated seats but I must assume it just wasn't needed in the warm riviera climate. They were standard on UK cars. The trip computer wasnt a UK option and was only available in LHD cars with KM clocks.

Yes, it is a town and country horn

The same seller who once sold a W124 with orhto seats?

Yes I had a 34000mile E320 sedan with ortho drivers seat

The computer is a rare novelty but it is ultimately a novelty, the standard gauges are more than enough.

What have you in mind?

Thanks to all for kind words, constructive criticism welcomed.
