560SEC Gemballa W126 Coupe

Either....tough question to answer as both are dear to me, the silver one my first E and the black 040 a very rare colour combo of black on black....i have yet to see another black 040 on black leather 500E.....

But i do have the 040 w124 Hammer 560E, so losing one black car is less of a punch to take.

I will only sell one though.

cheers

better find some cash, keep us informed!

I don't normally like non-AMG tuned MBs - but that car is S T U N N I N G!

I have to question your use of the word "beautiful"! Visually-arresting, stunning, breath-taking etc are all fine ways to describe it but beautiful it is not!

That's not to say it's not a great car but "eye of the beholder" nothing; it ain't beautiful! :)

I think it works if you say 'beautiful' with an Aussie accent !

:D

I realise it says 6.9 and 425+ but it that a standard Merc engine (m119?) thats been enlarged or special build specific for this car?

Thats an M117 DOHC which has been bored out...

im sure Talbir knows better but some were saying on the W126 club that this figure cant be true as not much else has been done..

but I have no idea!?

It's an M117 SOHC that likely has 100mm pistons and big bore to 6.9.

425 is easily achievable with that displacement and serious head work....geez, my 6.3 Renntech M119 with head work is shoving out 520bhp+, so this 6.9 can easily push out 425+.

I would bet my house that the Gemballa tuners would have done the required head work given everything else done to the car.

That was the same video that was posted on the listing when it was for sale. I wonder if Talbir has bought it home yet.

oh the sound of the overrun on the vid, wonderful!

Did they also do a Widebody E30 BMW, as i used to see one quite alot round the southall area when i was growing up. It was a Green E30 i saw it a few years back too, looked awesome.

Oh it wasnt just a M3 it was wider and looked similar to the Gemballa cars had the side fins and all
