5k family classic?

I have one rare car. You try finding parts.

Doing this W114 has taught me one thing that even with a W124 or the 190 I sort of took for granted, parts availability, online knowledge (be it EPC or lovely people here) and real engineering integrity make for a much more realistic ownership proposition. Add in there being lots around because they last and you have access to them at reasonable prices.

The W123 is probably heading to where the W114/5 is. Making the W124 the one to watch.

I used to have a Triumph 2500. Nice car with a decent bit of grunt.

Something you shouldn't do in one is engage overdrive halfway round a fast bend in the wet.

It's interesting to say the least :D

how about w124 convertible and on the way up due to rarity

Another vote for 944. Below is mine, my kids love going out in it because of the little bucket seats in the back and most of all the lights pop up!!!

I also really miss the 944's I have owned. Fantastic cars. The first one was a 2.5LUX.

The second being a fire breathing chipped and tuned Turbo:bannana:

Hows about a 2.3-16? Fit the family in no problem and ultimately chuckable. One of the best cars I ever owned.

Not sure if it will be practical as daily runner, but another old favourite of mine is the P5B Coupe.

Small world!

I've been looking at that website for a while now ;-)

Good to hear!
We are in the process of appointing a new Webmaster, who will then build us a new website as ours is currently a bit old and stale.

I'm almost finished a 5 year resto of a very rare V8 Engined Estate, can't wait to get it out on the road!

I always fancied a Triumph 2500S estate but never got round to it :o Nearest I had was an 1850HL Dolomite, that was a nice car apart from the rust.

A car i`ve always liked, looked into buying one years ago but there where a lot of kitted boy racer 190`s around at the time so it put me off, another one that has aged well but not sure one in my price range wouldn`t be a bit of a money pit?

Funny enough it was the fact i like these and the W114/5 and W123 CE`s that made me look into buying my current car when my wife suggested a 4x4 and now i`m starting to really like the W124 CE`s as well . . .
