A C63 a day getting Eurocharged

When I enquired about an ECU tune I was quoted an average power increase to around 520hp.

I've read a few posts ago that that is the average with the ECU tune and "secondaries gutted", which suggests the ECU tune alone won't give that figure.

So, definitively, what average power increase does the ECU tune alone give a standard C63?

I've had a remap and the secondary cats gutted, but unfortunately I haven't had the car on a dyno since it was done to see what the increase has been.

I have read that the secondary cat gutting, and the remap, makes little to no difference in performance gain over just a remap.

The secondary cats are just there for noise reduction apparently, being gutted, on mine meant it still passed the MOT fine.

520bhp is the average gain for remap.

Are there any hand held units available?

My new downpipes are nearly ready, 3 inch with single 200 cel cats and " Fake " secondary's so no problems at mot time : )

Then a wee hoon @ the end of the month for three days so I am thinking its time to get the remap done as I will be in some very fast company : )
