A Vmax type event.

FYI there are 2 delimits on most amg's @ 155 and then at 186... some tuners only do the 155, so make sure you get them to remove the 186 too (full delimit).

Might be a bit bullish but hell it is Vmax after all.

Nice one Steve! Had no idea there were two. Was speaking to Angel in Banbury today, as a group remap thread has gone quiet, and they include a delimit in their remaps.

Doubt if I'll get near 186, but very useful to know that I should ask. Thanks for the tip :thumb:
 
im in the essex/east london borders, who would you take the car to have it delimited? also if i delimit it can this be changed back or does it not matter for service / warranty ?

I have alawys been told the delimiting would never be a problem, as its hard for service guys to trace it, as primarily they are only interested in getting the service done and not tinkering with the ECU, but I believe its an easy thing to redeploy the limiter. Hopefuly someone with more knowledge of this type of thing will pop up to give you a more concrete answer. My own car was remapped and delimited when my engine was replaced under warranty, no issues. (just to reconfirm, my engine had issues before my mapping, burning oil, MB found that 2 of the barrels had scratches down them, preceeding my ownership)
There's sereral guys coming along with their limiters intact and OEM, so unless your interested in getting the limiter taken off, which to my eyes would not be a bad thing,I should,nt worry about it to much, the start, and the 0-60 and 0-100 timed runs will be oppoutnity for you to exercise your car, its going to be a fun day with a lot of AMGs amonst us.

To add to this Brabus K8 is a def with one other, but working with/on a few others, so may be a few more.
it would be good to fill the balance of the day through our own efforts, but if we lack a few number nearer the time there is a plan B, to get the day filled. Really looking forward to this day, not going to see so many AMGs along with a few exotic cars together within this forum event for a long long time.

Just to advise, that as of this coming Friday night, I will be handing any remaining spaces for our MB Vmax event over to a third party to fill the remaining spaces, so if your contemplating this event, you really do need to sign up by Friday;
