Aftermarket Warranty

Hi all,

Could anyone recommend a warranty company for an 08 C63 that is decent and decently priced?

I am currently looking at £900 (Warranty Direct) which seems a little steep compared to the £500 or so that I have seen other people quote (don't know the company though).

I wouldn't have thought you'd get much coverage on a C63 for £500.

How did you get the WD quote? Usual drill is to do a quote online and they'll call you back a couple of days later and do almost anything to sign you up.

I have a WD policy but haven't needed to claim.

The other one that crops up in these threads is WarrantyWise, but I think they're generally dearer than WD.

Yep, WarrantyWise with dear old Quentin Wilson's face all over things cam in at nearly £1,100.

I fully recommend Warranty Direct, What Car and the Telegraph sell their product too. I know that this still doesn't mean that they are any good but their product is excellent.

Was their quote made on line? Wait for them to ring you, you may well be offered 13 months, extras and a cheaper price.

So far I have been called up and offered the Mercedes price for the price of the independent garage price!

I took out a warranty with WW on my Audi S4 convertible as aid wanted nearly 5 grand!!! They were classing it in the same bracket as an R8 due to it's engine size I think from memory they came out at £800

I can recommend WD. I have it on the S-Class and the CL.

i just took out their top cover for 2year's for £1350!

Just paid Listers £1000 for additional 2yr warranty that follows on from the MB approved. Listers claim its better cover than the MB one.
Hope I don't need to know! Think I have 3yrs peace of mind!
