63 and just bought my first Mercedes - 2012 C-Class Sport Estate in Fire Opal. And I LOVE IT! Wish I'd had the money to start earlier, but hey, that's life.

I have to confess thaough that I do find the ride a bit hard on our cr***y roads, with the 18" AMG wheels.

40 - c350cdi - new to Mercedes but so far, definitely impressed.

On age, whilst sitting on the throne the other morning, I was wondering if Mercedes parking sensors, being more visual than audible, are designed more for the, eeerheeerr, elder generation??

I mean, you can drive if you are deaf, but not blind. Am I right??

On an aside, I had a rear camera fitted the other day, just because I had the car in somewhere that fitted them and thought WTH, why not, I got the car for alot less than I was expecting. In what circumstances do people find them useful ( if you already have sensors) ???

I'm 23, just got my first Merc- '60 plate C250 CDI.

I've had an '07 and '09 BMW 3-series and they seem to be slightly nicer on the front bumper/halo lights, and the seating position was nicer but the interior of the C class is just a million miles better. The c class saloon flows much better than the 3series 4door as well.

I am 38 ... This is my second Mercedes a SL500 ... A third car at the moment so weekends only pretty much and my 58th car I have owned since I was 17

I'm 47 currently driving a CLS 350 cdi grand edition which is my 4th Merc, started with a 53plate S203. Then a 57 plate S211, and then a 60 plate w245. I issued the power of the S211 so had to go back to a 3litre v6, the brabus chip in the GE makes such a difference to this engine

My first car back in 1996 was a 1990 190e 2.0 manual - great cars! I was 17.... since then I have nearly always had a Merc... and I have to say so far that I have never had any nightmares on costs/servicing etc - fingers crossed!
