Had a lot of cars since I was 17 , but Mercedes is best quality car I've owned. Just s pleasure to drive

I've just bought my first Mercedes which is a C32AMG and I'm 30.. Absolutely love the build quality and the power house of engine and supercharger. Makes me smile every time I put my foot down

Mind you, I think that times are definitely changing. Once upon a time, the only people who drove Mercs were the wealthy. Now anyone with good taste can drive one.

Just turned 31, bought the W204 earlier this year.

Really wish I bought a C63 instead, but that's the next chapter.

Came from Subaru, Range Rover and BMW... and safe to say now having an MB I won't be going back any time soon!

Bought my first Merc, 320CE at 47. Loved the performance and the looks, but the rust depressed me, like it was getting too close to the scrapyard day-by-day..

Had a couple of Audi Allroads, one diesel, one petrol but sold them due to massive depreciation. Now at 62, I'm happily back to Mercedes with an Ml 320Cdi.

Bizzarely, despite having performance-orientated cars mostof my life, I look forward to every journey in ML and find the driving experience a lot of fun.

Please don't ask me to explain why.

My ideal car now would be the 6.3 AMG version of the ML, and a fracking plant in the back garden. There's obviously something that happens to your brain at 60, making jacked-up 4x4s desirable...

Either that.or I'm turning into a School-Run-Mum.

230-6 Compact when I was 42, 6.9 at 43, next 6.9 at 47, 450SLC at 50 (still had 6.9 though), and now S430L at 65. Lots of other things in between, never really quite "right" until I got back to a MB.

I'm a MB owner at 46, after my Honda Civic Type R was written off and I wanted something comfortable for a change. I've owned XR3i, Escort RS Turbo, Peugeot 306 D Turbo, a brand new Honda Type R. Must be old age and the MRS but she talked me into buying a Merc, even after reading about several reliability issues.

I now own a C180 Petrol (2011 face lift model), its really comfortable and a pleasure to drive. Funny enough I now rarely speed, its not that type of car. You will speed in a hot hatch as its a car that wants to be floored, but a Merc is different and more for comfort!
