Age of MB Drivers.....

First MB was a 1971 250CE, bought at the age of 19 in 1993. It's still sitting outside my father's house in West London, waiting for me to come back, dismantle it and bring back whatever I can get in a suite case.

Now 39 years old and have about 15 old MB's (not including the one in the UK). I've probably had 100 in the last 4-5 years. It's a sickness.

20 when I got my Mercedes C250 CDI Amg sport plus coupe. First Mercedes i have ever owned and love it, much better than my previous BMW's.


I do not think Mercedes have the "old man" image that they used to.

17-18 = Volkswagen Polo Match 2008 1.2 (Insurance was mean)
18-Present = Volkswagen Golf Match 2008 1.9TDi - Lots of modifications remap, coilovers, multiple wheels etc
20-Present = W124 230CE Also with multiple modifications!

I think the stereotype has defintley changed due to how cheap Mercedes are now and they are very cheap on insurance too! Running two cars on a two different insurances - now thats rare for a poor uni student!

48 when I got my first Merc -now 49 . Had a saab 9-3 before it for 5 years before it and new Renault Lagunas before that. Finally seen the light and got the (20 year old)E220! Dread to think how much I spent(wasted) over the years when I ran new Reggies on PCPs.....

Hang on, just remembered a brief spell when I was 28 with a 1988 420SEL. Short lived loved affair which lasted about 3 months!
