I sell the E500 as "our" car I may be able to swing an early new car for myself. ;-)
Why not keep the 760 ?

Got the warranty renewal at a touch over £1k (bargain) - I've turned down £11,750, WBAC is at £11,400 so I'm in no hurry to sell it.
But, the size surprised me too - my issue was the A pillar hitting me in the head! Oddly, not a problem I suffer in the technically smaller SLK...
Wow Nab! That's a stealthy looking E cab! Love it!

Stealthy? It couldn't get much more shouty.
Roof off, simples. Roof on fiddle but it will be a couple of times a week max, trip to nursery giving mum a lie in and dance class on Saturday so not too much.

Hi guys new on here, wanted to get a few things done on my E coupe. Firstly the tint on the rear lights just for the reverse section.... Any ideas how this is done? Vinyl??I just bought some H&R springs to lower it, look my indy a couple of hours to fit and had the alignment sorted. H&R springs are slightly lower than say Eibachs so I guess that is down to preference. Total cost for that including fitting and alignment £300.
Offsets, now the standard wheels are high - for what reason I'm not sure but ET35 front and rear will work on standard ride height as many people have done that. Lowered though you may not get the best arch clearance if you're driving with two in the back there will be a little rubbing on the tyre.
I'm running ET43 up front and ET38 at the back, though I was going to put a 5-10mm spacer on the front but held off. Also the 19s are 0.5" wider on both the front and rear but sit nicely flush to the arch on the rear, not so much on the front but I'll rectify that with the new wheels.
There are plenty of options for wheels for that sort of money at 19" though some will instantly flame saying ebay "replica" wheels as hopeless and dangerous but I know people who have bought and run them with no issues at all for a couple of years, have considered getting a set as my diamond cut lips have given in and started rotting badly hence new wheels for me as I fancy a change rather than a refurb.
I like these at the minute, SLS 7 spoke style AMGs
19" GM MULTI ALLOY ALLOY WHEELS MERCEDES E CLASS KLASS W207 CONVERTIBLE | eBay
Obviously these are without tyres but a set of 2x 235/35 and 2x 275/30 Falken FK453s from camskill are somewhere under £600 plus allowing £15 per corner for fitting and balancing from a tyre fitter you'll be well within your budgeted amount.
There are many different options around though depending on what styles of wheels you like, I'll be going for something drastically different all being well and will post pictures as and when I get the new wheels sorted.
Obviously you can reverse those mods the end of your 2 year agreement
Standard with wheels lost inside the arches
Before lowering on 19s 235/35 & 265/30, little better not right though
Lowered - much better
Lowered & spaced rear, perfect (to me)
Front lip
how any of you can see the E Class cabriolet as even remotely as stylish as my "old" CLK
