Air bubble in fuel line

Following my C220Cdi's injector replacement I have aquired a big air bubble in the line between the fuel filter and whatever that thing is stuck into the intake manifold.

About half the pipe is air, which I'm sure should not be there. Any ideas on how to remove it?

Run the engine for a bit, if it doesn't disappear permanently then replace the O-rings that seal that particular pipe.

Had the same problem on my E300TD, if I parked the car at home facing in(slightly up hill) the car would not start the next day. In the end I had to replace all the pipes into the fuel filter. They are only a few pounds each and are easilly replaced. The thingy on the manifold by the way is I think the fuel heater.

We had a Nissan Patrol diesel in the workshop once that continually got air in the lines. No amount of new hoses , seals etc allowed us to find the problem . In the end an inline electric pump was fitted at the tank end. No more probs. Actually ran better than it ever did according to customer.

I was getting problems starting a few months ago. My local indie found air in the fuel lines and replaced them. Aparently they get brittle with age and let the air in. I had 5 replaced and the parts were, I think, less than £20.
