AMG door pins who sells them

I just bought mine from my local dealers. Had them on for a couple of years now, I think. They're a great addition to an AMG. They should come with them from factory.

Fitted them myself and thankfully only needed 2.

Easy to install. Just make sure you get the AMG pins squarely on the thread before winding it down. It's a very fine thread and would be easy to cross-thread, I'm sure.

Stick some PTFE tape on the thread before screwing on otherwise they turn by their own free will!

After speaking with Alps...I bought a set of these earlier in the year for my E55, good quality, well packaged...they still look great, I was very pleased:thumb:

Good idea re: the threads, I think I may put a tiny blob of threadlock on mine (when they arrive!)

I would challenge anyone to spot the difference between the Ebay ones and the MB ones, i know I have both!

I put a small length of plumber's tape around the thread on each rod to stiffen the pin.
Worked a treat and stopped them from moving freely.

Then you have the dilemma of AMG facing in or AMG facing out.

Out for me.

In, out but no shaking it about with PTFE!
