Nothing to do with the trip, but there's an easy way to format that sort of table on this board. First create what you want in Excel and copy it to the clipboard. Then, while creating your post, click the "Table" icon on the toolbar (the one to the right of the YouTube HD icon) and finally paste the contents of the clipboard between the TABLE tags. This results in something like:

Night Before the Crossing Night Before the AMG Tour Alpine Route Day 1 etc.
1 ChrisA + 1 X X
2 AshC63 + 3 X X X
3 etc. X X X X

BTW, enjoy the trip

Copy-pasting on Macs drops all formatting from text, so this didn't work for me unfortunately. I don't have a PC around. Thanks for the tip though.

That's not really fair as I will have a fuel/rev/bhp/noise monitor in the car..

its the wife fortunately the E55 is the quietest earth spinner there is, I may have to encourage a higher alcohol intake for her the night before and get her to take a nap so I can slip into high speed stealth mode
