AMG 'growl' from regular Merc ?

silencer (middle box) needs to be removed to sound like today's AMGs:

I don't speak German either, but it's amazing how much you pick up. Luckily my father & sister-in-law speak it & are pretty literate in it!

Last time I used the site I saw that they had added German, just checked the link and there is a language toggle in the top right hand corner, very neat.

I found that they were pretty good with email contact, although I can't remember if I communicated with them in German or English.

i have a 2003 cl600 and would love it to sound mean, but would i get the motorway drone too

I removed the rear cats .... well they were not working anymore and they were in pieces ... lol
This added a nice note and nice rumble to the V8.

It did not affect the motorway cruise or sound any louder. But again the CL's insulation it quite good I think lol But the car is louder for the passing by;s

and you selcted Privatkunden (e.g. private individual) then all it was asking for was a postcode.

I just used the Postcode from their address ( 73765 ) but any German postcode should be fine
