Hi Guys,

I said I could do either date, but that was intended as an either/or rather than both.. I didn't realise both were going to go ahead. I'd prefer to do the August date (slightly better chance of it not peeing down) rather than April, given the choice.

Sorry for the misunderstanding, hope this doesn't upset anyone too much..

Just a slight change for me after thinking about it, I probably wont bring the C63 as my second car now, but will bring the CLK DTM and the 599 GTO to the first date, and the DTM and the McLaren to the August date if that's OK?

Happy to give passenger rides if anyone fancies one.

Gaz, I thought the same, one or the other, the lists suggests we can choose which date because most names are not on both dates? for me I was going to say April with a view to going in for the August one after that?
Sorry for any confusion, if the April date is not going ahead then I'm defo in for the August date, could you give us your thoughts Rick?

Sorry about this guys, but due to one individuals response to me tonight I am no longer wishing to be involved in this venture, I would ask what various people have been reading for the past fortnight. I appreciate the hard core few that have been onboard from day one, and all their efforts, Mika, Benjy and Maff, to keep this day/days onnboard. However I am out of it, should anyone wish to take up the batten, I will happily hnd over the details, so as you can all pursue the days.
Sorry about it, wish I,d never raised the idea now, feel quite sick about it.

For what its worth Ricky, you are a true gent for trying to arrange this.
As you know, I offered to help and even consider paying for the second buffet.

Some people strive to acheive and do better things, while others only want to ruin other peoples hard work and effort. I dont know who upset you Ricky, but 1 person out of 36 .. are they so alone. so self centered and so selfish to ruin it for all.

Guess so.

This is totally out of order and for someone to upset Ricky enough for him to drop this is totally wrong and idiotic for someone to do this.

This guy has put himself out to arrange a day for everyone that are petrol heads to enjoy a great day and meet new friends and for some cretin to spoil this for everyone else seems stupid. I don't know what was said and to be honest I don't want to know as this would upset me even more but I suggest whoever this was apologises to him asap.

All I would say is thanks to Ricky for putting himself out on trying to get a well organised and enjoyable day out for everyone that was interested and hope that we can get together soon and see if there is something else that we can arrange or organise between us and the interested parties.

Ricky don't let this idiot get you down too much mate and me and all the guys I am sure would like to thank you for all your hard work at trying to make this work.
 
Dear Ricky,

I cannot imagine what could have possibly gone wrong and I genuinely hope the other party will step up to clear the air. As I said before it takes some balls to organise an event and I truly appreciate you went that far to arrange this exciting venue for all of us. It's not fair to go on with the venue without you Ricky, so I sincerely hope you reconsider.

not sure whats been happening here, but just my 2p worth, thanks for making the effort and arranging this, not worth letting it spoil a new year mate so dont let it worry you... lets catch up in the new year... or if somehow the track day still goes ahead count me in... ive cleared it with the missus which was hard work in itself :)

Oh no Ricky...I'm gutted, I really am!

In fact, I was actually trying to persuade my other half to rearrange our holiday dates by a few days so I could attend the April event (the August date is 100% definite but we currently have a holiday planned at the same time as the April date).

I do hope you reconsider as there aren't may people who would go to the effort you have - please don't let one persons' comments put you off this altogether.

I dont know what happened but its a shame :( I was really really looking forward to this. If it does get cancelled i'll see you at the next Bluewater meet and im with everyone else in thanking you for trying to make this happen.

Ricky, even thoguh i've dropped out I have been watching you do a good job of organising. Hope whoever has made you drop out of this clears the air with you. I do believe we are all grown ups on this forum!
