Antenna Identification year 2000 W210?

Hi,

I have just found this group and have been amazed at the wealth of knowledge here. I am contemplating installing the comand sat nav to my e-class. First I want to identify the antenna on the roof. Most e-classes do not have this aerial and it looks to be made by Allgon and is definitely a factory install. There is no evidence in the centre console of a phone kit.

Any info greatly appreciated.

it is definately a gsm telephone aerial , but may have been installed later by professional installation co. - hence no sign of car kit.

Thanks. I'll have a route around and see if I can find where the phone was connected
