Any views on sound deadening?

Personally covered as much as I could of the outer door panel and about a 20x20cm square on inner skin around speak holes.
dynaliner covering all of the door.

Was at the cafe with my ICE installer this morning. Spoke of a newish (at least in Portugal) product, which he says is very good and cheaper than dynamat.

I have just bought a bulk pack of the stp gold mat.

There is a guy in Manchester who sells it.

It is a bit cheaper than dynamat.

I intend to do the floor panels and bonnet (under oem blanket) of my w220 s320cdi.

I'm not sure if it will make much difference as it is has a lot of sound proofing as standard. I was surprised to see the floor only has bitumen deadening on the transmission tunnel.

I also plan to put a sheet of quietlife foam insulation on the bulkhead behind the engine.

I will let you know if it makes any difference.
