Anyone friends with somebody really famous?

Hunter from gladiators used to be my landlord, his mate Ace came round one day to regrout the windows and do the guttering.

Met the Chuckle Brothers twice as well.

Phew! I can see there's no point in me posting then. You win! :)

Thank you please

My wife, when she was a child, used to be best friends with Fergies dresser. Yes the infamous one. I just mind my Ps and Qs!

I kissed Danni Minouge once. Properly too. I was backstage at some concert she did and asked her for a kiss so she did. What a day that was. My mate who I was with was gutted.

Don't be mean Olly - give him a kiss too and he wont be gutted anymore:D

My wife and I have a habit of bumping into cast members from the Bill for some weird reason. We shared a tepanyaki table with one (cant remember her name she was the pretty Asian girl who's now left) in the Dominican Republic. On a separate holiday we kept bumping into the blonde bloke ("Mickey" in CID) in a hotel in Crete one year, but he kept that "dont talk to me" look on his face the whole holiday!. On the same holiday we spent a few evenings with the Girl who played Faye in Grange hill ( she was also in an Eastenders special once) and her husband who was a race-course bookie, a really fun couple. My Mrs also bumps into Smithy from the Bill in Chislehurst high street all the time.

Also had a beer at the british Emabssy in Riyadh with David Coulthard in 1994 when he was with McLaren doing a Tag Heur promo at a new jewellry store owned by a mate of MAsour Ojjeh. He was very approachable and let us have a pic taken with him, I was sooooo into F1 in those days I was compeltely star struck!.

Do I win £5?

I saved the best for last :D

I met the Late Great Sir Bobby Robson when he was Manager of Newcastle United, got my pic taken with him and an auto graph, plus i met this other guy Alan Shearer, i think his name was lol oh and the rest of the squad :D

also met Alisha Dixon who is REALLY drop dead grogeous.

and just yesterday i met Jiah Khan (Bollywood Actress) Really down to earth no attitude un like others.

I know theres a few i've forgotten but thats for another day.

K

I can't recall any of the posts being about famous "friends" though, unless I've missed one?

I've met famous people, but I can't count them as friends just because I shared a train journey with them, or had dinner with them, as a one off.

I am very good friends with a fashion designer who would possibly be considered famous to a certain demographic but some members would have never heard of him, so I'm not going to suggest that he really is famous. That's as close as I get I'm afraid.

One very famous actress is annoying the heck out of me by cancelling appointments at very short notice...Grrrr

I think I got close with Keith Moon. As I was briefly involved with his sister and my parents were friendly with his parents (they all lived in Wembley) I guess that's pretty close! :D

I'm friends with one of the guys in the Go Compare ad
:ban::ban::ban::ban::ban::ban::ban:
