Anyone seen any good number plates on cars lately?

She's one of our own...

M155 WTF on my lovely L322 Range Rover.

The L322 is the only RR that I like. Are they any good or they bags of kak?

Mine has been superb in almost 6 years of ownership.
Very reliable. A new battery and some wear and tear front suspension work costing circa £950 and that's it IIRC.
For it's size with the 4.2SC it's quite lively too.
The 5,0SC would be a real hoot.
Hi-fi is great and the controls are laid out perfectly throughout the car.
I've done 450-500 miles in a day on numerous occasions and wanted to go round again.
The best way I describe it is as a supercharged armchair on wheels.

They look very classy. So much nicer than the Barry, wide-boy scaffolding firm owner variety.

I agree they are a wonderful place to travel in and even to drive. A rapid club lounge on wheels.
...but, my 61 plate TDV8 turned out to be the most unreliable car I have ever owned. One of the last L322's, you might have thought they'd have got the hang of making them by then. Three major bills inside a year and it just had to go. I'm not alone in having a wee bit of trouble with an FFRR!

Maybe I've just been unlucky, but I have never been that way with any other car.:dk:

Shame you had to let it go.

Lovely and the same colour as mine by the looks of it. Buckingham Blue?

I nearly went for the TDV8 but I don't cover a huge mileage in mine so opted for petrol.

My car was owned by either a councillor or MP, I cant remember which, but it wanted for nothing until they parted company with it at around 7 years-old IIRC.
Maybe I've got a good one, or I'm just lucky.

Don't think it's a matter of luck, except that you lucked into a car owned by one of our esteemed elected representatives. They could tap into either the council's approved workshops or local dealers (nudge, nudge, wink, wink) whenever they wanted. Probably also had his private driveway resurfaced.

Do you think it was a murder film judging by the colour scheme on the Bentley?
