Anyone seen any good number plates on cars lately?

He's sitting on a decent investment there.

I have a friend who has another friend with one and the prices have been steadily rocketing over the years.
Nick Mason tells the story of how he and Dave Gilmour went to Maranello to collect two of the very first F40’s to come to the UK. He also talks about how his is regularly used and is one of the highest mileage F40’s in existence.

Having seen some of JK’s cars in our workshop, he doesnt need to worry too much about investment values. He likes to drive all his cars.

I'm glad to hear it.

The one I know of gets used too. It's how it should be.

I can't see the point of buying a car and never using it no matter what it is.

It's a waste!

I think most of his garage have gone up in value since he bought them, but he has some sort of regime that sees them all get regular exercise

Ho Ho. I saw them play live in Futures club in Kavos 1992. Very short set.

Yeah, not an extensive back catalogue granted. DJs Take Control was a top tune of the era though IMO - I preferred that to OART.

Sounds like a job in itself but not a bad one to have...

Baker Street by Undercover was the song of the summer along with Jump by Kris Kross.

Talking era rather than that year... DTC was from 1991.

Saw D16 SEL on a black Porsche Chelsea tractor - but MOT site says it's on a silver Mazda

NOG4S on one of Pimlico’s vans
RO11YAL on a van belonging to Royal something

I saw G5POT on an Aston Martin in Kensington London a few years back...

I bet he keeps forgetting where it is!
Your posts reminds me of a friend who moved to London from Scotland. One night after going out for dinner he returned to where he parked the car and it had gone. He reported it stolen but the Police never did find it.

A year or two later he stumbled upon it. Being new to London the streets all looked the same, and they got mixed up - it was never stolen, they just hadn’t parked it where they thought had! Dirty and unloved but otherwise just as they left it 😁
