Anyone seen any good number plates on cars lately?

At Caffeine and Machine a couple of weeks back.
E22EX G??
Don't tell me that the owner really thinks that looks like Essex (the only thing I can think of with that combination)??

Good sense of humour with the stickers above the pipes.
I saw the picture and did not note the "good sense of humour" until I read your post, thank you, lol.

Your comments reminded me of one of our relatives who owned a big-engined Range Rover in the very early 90s. He had a sticker on the back window that read, " Save the planet."

If you squint from over a mile away it looks like SNOWBIZ, so obviously owned by someone who appeared on Ski Sunday.

I’m sorry, the plates and interpretations being posted here are getting more and more ridiculous.

Nope...but common error...Because A 1 was not the first plate...DY1 is the first plate issued... a month before A1.

And then DY2 etc??
The letter(s) at the beginning signified the local authority where the plate was issued. After that the numbers increased numerically. So the order of issue depends on where they were issued chronologically. London was A. DY was Hastings.

Not a car, but.....:

Backstory?

No idea. It was parked at NRA Bisley this morning. It is operated by a company who provides VIP transport, and so presumably someone hired it for a flight into Bisley.

It's a Bell 206B Jetranger III, starter life in the USA in the seventies and moved to the UK in the eighties (according to the Internet).

I thought the G-TREE might have been significant.

Can a 1970’s helo provide VIP transport??

Airframes last a very long time. In fact this particular helicopter lost its tail in an accident 30 years ago.... (according to the Internet).
